We are often asked when children should first visit the dentist. We recommend bringing them as soon as you think they will sit on our dental chair. If you bring them along to your visit, they can meet everyone and see how everything works. Even if we don’t get to look in their mouth at the first visit we have laid a good foundation for the next time.

Children aged 6 or under attend for free if they come along as part of your visit. Around the age of six children get their first permanent teeth, these teeth are made to last a lifetime, to help them keep these teeth in tip-top condition children should see one of our hygienists every six months.
